What are Carbon Ondol panels?

Innovative heating
Carbon Ondol panels are used to heat spaces using heated water, which can be supplied by any water heating source (gas boiler, electric, solar, heat pump, etc.). The panels are mounted on the floor and/or wall, pipes with a hot water circuit are inserted into the panel channels, their covers are attached to the panels, and then any type of flooring (or wall finish) is installed.

Uniqueness
The panels are mainly composed of high-quality carbon (from the English "Carbon") in the form of graphite, as well as charcoal and other natural minerals. This composition provides the panels with exceptional thermal conductivity, which translates into energy savings. The panels are so durable that they can also be used in industrial zones.

Frequently Asked Questions

The panels last easily at least 30 years.

Water boiler (either electric gas type) boils the water to designated temperature. The water is directed via a pipe to a water distributor wchich distributes hot water betwen a number of pipes which one by one go to rooms hidden in our underfloor panels. The water heats up the panels which in turn heat the floor evenly. The water pipes then direct water back to the distributor and back to the boiler where water is heated again.

All kinds of floorring including tiles, hardwood, laminate, vinyl and carpeting.

Yes, floor heating is suitable for both residential and commercial buildings and is not limited to it. Its light weight and non-intrusive installation makes it suitable for historical sites, fragile buildings and more.

The benefits of floor heating include enhanced comfort, even heat distribution, energy efficiency, reduced allergens, and the elimination of visible heating elements.

Floor heating is considered highly energy-efficient because it operates at lower temperatures and provides radiant heat, resulting in less heat loss compared to traditional heating systems. Typical savings amount to 10-40% comparing to radiator heating.

Floor heating can be installed in both existing homes and new construction. No concrete nor demolition is needed.

Our panels do not need any maintenance. Boiler used to heat up the water needs maintenance according to its producer guidelines.
